Into the Night

This cocktail is inspired by the Classic Aviation Cocktail as well as the 1980 hit song “Into the Night” by Benny Mardones… ”If I could fly, I'd pick you up, I'd take you into the night, And show you a love, Like you've never seen, ever seen…” So it’s a cheesy love song about stalking an underage girl. But the drink version is fully of age and pretty tasty.

While an Aviation uses Créme de Violette, we swapped it out for Sipsmith Sloe gin, to give it a fruitier & juicer flavor.

Sipsmith London Dry Gin, Lemon, Maraschino, Sloe Gin

1.5 oz. Sipsmith London Dry Gin

.75 oz. Lemon Juice

.5 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liquor

.25 oz. Sipsmith Sloe Gin

Shake all ingredients for 30 seconds and double strain into coupe glass.

Garnish with brandied cherry.
